William W. Byrd
Mr. Byrd is the founding member of Byrd & Gonzalez,
P.A., and has been representing victims of personal
injury and wrongful death since 1999. Mr. Byrd
received his undergraduate degree from Florida State
University and received his Juris Doctorate Degree
from Stetson College of Law.
Mr. Byrd began his legal career as an insurance
defense attorney where he was a Senior Trial
Attorney with Nationwide Insurance, and became
Managing Attorney for Cigna Property & Casualty
Insurance’s Florida Legal Operations (LSO) for five
(5) years.
Mr. Byrd is a member in good standing of The Florida
Bar, The Academy Trial Lawyers Association, The
Florida Academy of Trial Lawyers, The Hillsborough
County Bar Association, and The Tampa Bay Trial
Lawyers Association. Mr. Byrd is admitted to
practice law before the State Courts of
Florida(Circuit and County), the United States
District Court (Middle District of Florida), and the
United States Court of Appeals (Eleventh Circuit).

J. Gonzalez, Jr.
For 17 years Mr. Gonzalez represented insurance
companies in the central Florida area, in matters of
personal injury and wrongful death. Today he
represents only individuals and families, who are
injured as a result of the fault of others. Mr.
Gonzalez is a

He has handled and tried cases throughout the state
